To explain what it actually costs to fly in European airspace, below prices have been set as an example to illustrate the air fares in Europe. The prices set are based on the assumption that the flights are carried out by aircraft with an MTOM of 50 metric tons. As you will see, the price itself is tracked down by determining weight and distance flown – since the rating to be paid equals the distance of 100 km per metric tons.
All prices in Euro.
All amounts are based on a flight with a 79-ton aircraft and the service unit rate for January 2025.
