Anders Rex becomes the new CEO of Naviair
By 1 November 2023 at the latest, Anders Rex will take up the position of the new CEO of Naviair. Anders Rex comes from the Danish Defence, where he holds the rank of Major General and has served as the Commander of the Royal Danish Air Force and currently as the Defence Attaché in Washington, USA.
Anders Rex is 53 years old, a trained F-16 pilot, and has over 15 years of strategic leadership experience, especially from the Air Force, most recently as the Chief of Staff Plans and Capabilities in the Danish Defence Command.
Flemming Jensen, Chairman of the Board of Naviair, states:
"We are very pleased to have hired Anders Rex. He possesses strong leadership skills that can instill calmness and confidence in and around Naviair. Moreover, he is a strong profile capable of developing the company in relation to the significant exciting tasks ahead, including the establishment of a new control centre in Greenland. Anders Rex is looking forward to assuming the role of CEO and says:
